Direk Savestanan: Reason for Reading

     I chose "The Last of the Mohicans" for my summer reading assignment because I saw the movie once when I was young, so I was already somewhat familiar with it. Also, the French and Indian War is a fascinating topic to me because of all the different groups of people involved, and the book made sure to include most, if not all of them.
